This hybrid program combines 30 online lectures covering the full scope of humanitarian medicine with real-world clinical deployments to remote communities, hands-on ultrasound training, and a formal case presentation, all supervised by the Floating Doctors on-site medical director. There are no fixed program dates for the in-person week. You schedule your Panama deployment at a time that works for you on a rolling basis throughout the year once you have completed the online curriculum. The Wilderness Medical Society designates this hybrid activity for a maximum of 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM.
